Do you have what it takes to position yourself for a Pharmaceutical Sales position? Before you begin your quest for the position, it's best to begin to sell yourself to potential employers. On average there is at least 200 applicants for one Pharmaceutical Sales position. That means that there will be tough competition for the position you seek. Networking is a great way to set your qualifications apart from the competition. There are some jobs that you will never see advertising for. By networking, you will begin to get your name out to the right people. Currently there are about 60,000 Pharmaceutical Sales Positions so the chances are good that you or someone you know may have a friend that does the type of work. Word of mouth can speak volumes for positioning against other potential competitors. Once contact is made with a current Pharmaceutical Sales Employee, obtain their business card and call them. The company may have an employee referral program in place, so the current employee may be willing to help you obtain your goal.
